Total immersion - learn French in beautiful Provence

 

 

 

If you're looking to learn or improve your French, I invite you to spend the time totally immersing yourself in the French way of life by staying at my home, in a welcoming family environment.  As well as receiving daily French lessons, you will experience the culture, food and exceptional countryside Provence has to offer.

 

My house is located in the charming village of Rognes, between Aix en Provence and the regional Park of Luberon. Rognes is an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas - only 20 minutes to Aix en Provence, 40 minutes to Marseille, and 45 minutes to Les Baux or Avignon.   

 

It’s a great opportunity to experience a different lifestyle and a new culture in an amazing region and you are guaranteed to make incredible progress within a short time!

 

 

 

About your teacher

 

I have worked for many years as an FLE teacher (French as a Foreign Langage). I have taught in various places such as ‘Essential French’ in Cork, Ireland, 'Institut Molière' in Tunis or for the JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) in Tunis too.

 

Now that I'm living in France again, I give private lessons in total immersion at my home. I've had the pleasure of teaching people from many parts of the world, who have enjoyed their stay and gained a lot from their French language experience.

 

 

Accomodation

 

The house is a typical provençal house, a ‘bastide’ with a swimming pool and terrace garden. It's only a 5 minutes walk to the village and the charming local shops, and also to the bus station.

 

You will have your own bedroom and bathroom, with private access to your room. Free Internet and access to laundry facilities are included. Linen, sheets, and towels are provided.

 

 

 

Language study: 2 options

 

• All inclusive:

Mornings:  dedicated to the 3-hour French lesson (15 hours per week)

Lunch: we cook and eat together (typical French cooking!)

Afternoons: I take you on excursions 3 times a week (to be decided with you based on your personal tastes).  Visit Aix, Marseille, wineries, museums, walks in the Park of Luberon or whatever takes your fancy.

 

Rates: 1 week language study - 900€ per person (for 2 weeks or more, 800€)

The price includes: 

- transfer from and to Marseille airport or Aix en Provence TGV station

- classes 3 hours every morning from Monday to Friday (15 hours a week*) 

- accomodation (full board)

- trips around Provence.

 

* extra hours are possible

 

• Accomodation + breakfast and as many hours of French lesson as you want

Rates: 65€/night with breakfast, 25€/hour/French lesson
